We are a non- profit organization that is made up of many volunteers. Our volunteers dedicate many hours fulfilling duties to provide EMS and firefighting in our community without drawing a single paycheck. Many times it can often go unnoticed. Whether we are needed in the middle of the night or in the wee hours of the morning, during Thanksgiving dinner or on Christmas morning we are there providing services 24/7/365. We would like to take the time to thank all of our volunteers without you we wouldn’t be where we are today. So Thank You!!!

AVFD MONTHLY TRAINING SCHEDULE

BUSINESS MEETING – Every 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00pm

FIRE TRAINING – Every 4th Monday of the month at 6:30pm.

EMS TRAINING– Every 1st Monday of the month at 6:30pm.

Our Programs

Water deliveries for wells are done on a time-available basis when a tank truck and driver are available.

The cost for well water deliveries is $60 per 2000 gallon tank truck load or portion thereof.

Note:  We will no longer be delivering water for pools after September 1, 2022.

We also have many fundraisers throughout the year to help pay for our expenses. These include coin drops, breakfasts, bingos. and a fund drive mailing. We do these so we only have to ask our town for the least amount of money necessary to help with the operation of our department. We also receive many donations throughout the year which are very much appreciated.
